
Practising certificate renewals open now
Apply to renew your practising certificate from 1 to 31 May 2025
If you are going to be practising from 1 July 2025, you must apply to renew your practising certificate within the prescribed time frames (see below). Your practitioner Service Hub is now open.
- Log into your Service Hub on the Board’s website.
- Go to the Certificate Renewals and Grants tile.
- Complete your renewal/grant application.
The fee to accompany an application for renewal of an Australian practising certificate during the standard renewal period (1 to 31 May 2025) is $1,250. Practitioners may need to pay additional fees. More information.
Apply to renew by 31 May 2025 to avoid late fees
An application for the renewal of an Australian practising certificate can be made in the standard renewal (1 – 31 May) and late renewal (1 – 30 June) periods. More information.
Not renewing your practising certificate?
Please notify the Board of your changed details. You can advise us of the closure of your law practice and closure of your trust account (if applicable) through the relevant forms on the Board’s website.
