CPD Requirements – Application for approval as a QA Provider

The Legal Practice Board (Board) has reviewed its processes regarding approval of providers of continuing professional development (known as QA Providers), who are approved in accordance with rule 14(2)(b) of the Legal Profession Rules 2009.
Please note that effective 21 February 2018, the Board has approved for use “CPD Form 1 – Application for Approval as a QA Provider of CPD” (version 1)
The new application form will make the application process for status as a QA Provider smoother and more efficient.
For existing QA Providers, please note that the following forms and information sheets have been revoked:
  • Application for Approval as a QA Provider January 2011;
  • Information sheets “A Guide to Applying for QA Provider Status” and “Guidelines on how to demonstrate that you meet the QA Provider Requirements” June 2008; and
  • “Explanatory notes Application for Approval as a QA Provider” September 2009.
