2. Practitioners Legal Electronic Access Service

The Legal Practice Board have made the Decisions handed down by the Judiciary of Western Australian Courts available in electronic format by means of a database called PLEAS. This became available in 1998.

PLEAS stands for Practitioners Legal Electronic Access Service. It is a dial-in, 24 / 7 subscription service.

Access to the service is available in the libraries and by subscription to legal practitioners.

The PLEAS databases are searchable and practitioners are able to print a quality PDF document acceptable to the Courts.

The ownership of this system is vested with the Legal Practice Board and it is administered by the Supreme Court Law Library.
