TEACHING and ASSESSMENT
Core Course
The four week Core Course has been designed to teach and assess a clerk’s level of competence against the Elements of the Skills, Practice Areas and Values described in the Uniform Admission Rules (as defined by the Legal Practice Board Rules 2004) and set out in the table below:

The CCP course is run over four days and the PLP is run over three days and are designed to teach and assess the Elements described for those Practice Areas. Clerks may complete either, both or neither of these courses in which case the Principal is responsible for the teaching and assessment of the Elements of the Practice Area.
