APPROVAL OF PRACTICAL LEGAL TRAINING (PLT) COURSES IN WESTERN AUSTRALIARule 8 of the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2008 (Admission Rules) provides for the Legal Practice Board (Board) to approve a practical legal training (PLT) course for the purposes of rule 7(2)(b) of the Admission Rules. Application by an institution for approval of a PLT Course must be made on the approved form, LPB Form A5 - Application for approval of PLT course and provider. The following PLT courses have been approved by the Board and accordingly meet the “approved practical legal training requirements” of section 21 of the Legal Profession Act 2008.
